Pre-installation Notes
Dual Flush and Variflush are not suitable for concealed cisterns
- Check that the system flushes effectively. Variflush/Dual Flush will save water, but cannot improve a flushing system that is already defective.
- The cistern must have the lever in front.
- The cistern should have a 19 mm ( 3/4 inch) minimum hole for the lever. Note that some plastic cisterns have a small hole that will need enlarging.
- Use Type B for very thin plastic slim line cisterns where the metal rod attached to the lever is supported at the rear of the cistern.
- For Type B a clearance of 50 mm (2 inch) is required inside the cistern.
